The terrifying moment a car bonnet is ripped off on a busy road, narrowly avoidingoncoming vehicles, has been caught on camera.
A motorist captured the incredible footage while driving in Newcastle during heavy traffic.
The video shows a silver car making it’s way across the road when a fire engine races past in the opposite direction and the bonnet pops off into the road.
Immediately after the incident, the car slows down but soon speeds back up, reports the Newcastle Chronicle.The motorist who took the video - who wishes to remain anonymous - says the driver of the silver car did not stop or go back for the bonnet.
