Astonishing moment hapless man shoots himself in head while 'playing' with gun - and survives

This man's stupidity almost cost him his life when he put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger, shooting himself in the head, in an apparent game.

In the footage, which has gone viral after being shared online, the vest-wearing lad is seen sitting on a bed, fiddling with the firearm.

He is smiling at the camera as he puts the gun to his head and pulls the trigger.

The gun clicks on the empty barrel.

But when he has a second go, it seemingly goes off unexpectedly and the bullet skims his head.
