Nepal has inked 10-point agreements with China during the second day of Prime Minsiter KP Shama Oli’s week-long China visit on Monday. The agreements were signed during PM Oli’s meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang at the Great Hall of the People this morning. “Nepal has signed important agreements with China for the economic development of the country,” PM Oli tweeted after the signing ceremony, adding, “transit treat is most important among them”.
According to a stattment issued by Pramod Dahal, PM's press advisor, the agreements inked today include much talked Nepal-China transit and transport treaty, free trade agreement, construction of Pokhara Regional International Airport, construction bridge at Nepalgunj-Hilsa road, installation of solar system at 32,000 houses, concessional loan agreement, opening of bank branches at each other countries and agreement related to exploration of gas and fuel among others.
