Girl k||ed for 'refusing group....

KATHMANDU : The Metropolitan Police Crime Division has arrested two men on Thursday from Tribhuwannagar VDC of Sarlahi district in connection to the murd@r about a month ago of a 19-year-old girl. Venisha Limbu, a native of Dhankuta and  resident of Kapan, Kathmandu, had gone missing since February 20. Preliminary investigation has revealed that Limbu had affair with Sunny Lama, MPCD Chief Sarbendra Khanal said.


Two days after she was report@d missing on February 20, the body of the girl, Venisha Limbu, from Rajarani-3, Dhankuta, who had been residing in Kapan, was found buried near a bamboo grove in Bhaktapur. Limbu, a the 12th grader at Lumbini College and a teacher at Kalopul-based school, met a group of boys via her three-month-long facebook friend Rajan Rai, 19, of Morang district.

According to SSP Sarbendra Khanal, chief of the Metropolitan Police Crime Division, the girl had accompanied Rai to Hard Rock Restaurant based in Thamel, but returned to an apartment near Bouddha Gate with Sunny Lama under the influence of alcohol. The owner of the apartment himself drove the couple to his flat and let them sleep in one room while he went to bed in another room, the police said.

Sunny and Venisha had consensual   at the apartment. And then after a while, the absconding accused knocked on the door of the room where Venisha and Sunny were staying. The absconding man told Sunny to leave with the intention to rape Venisha that led to a minor verbal exchange with Sunny. Venisha entered the toilet after realising the absconding man's intention to rape her. After she refused to let him have   the man allegedly pushed her from the sixth floor of the building, said SSP Khanal.
