Heart-stopping footage captured on the dash-cam of a car highlights just how dangerous it can be if you wear headphones while crossing roads.
The footage shows a young girl stepping straight out into the path of an oncoming car as it travelled in the inside lane of a busy road in Australia.
In the clip, the girl has her headphones plugged into her ears and holds her music player in her hands, presumably engrossed in her tunes.
She steps out into the road, causing the car to swerve and brake sharply, but the side of the bonnet smashes into her."She is OK, a few scuffs here and there. Ambulance and police were on the scene and did a great job, also hats off to all the locals that helped out."
